The Doc Is Back...

The Doc Is Back...

It has been confirmed today that last year's Supporters player of the season Tommy Doherty has returned to the club on a 2 month emergency loan deal.

The 28 year old was all set to join the Blues in the summer but an operation on his appendix whilst on holiday put pay to the chances of the deal being completed in that particular transfer window.

It's great news for Blues fans as the Northern Irish international had become a firm favourite at the club and was the club's stand-out player in the miserable collapse at the end of last season. Manager Paul Lambert simply told the official website 'I've got my man!'.

He will not feature for at least a month as he still continues his recovery but it's great news and I'm sure I speak for all Wanderers' fans and say that I'm absolutely delighted that we will be see the Doc and his fantastic facial hair on the Adams Park pitch again.
