Lambert Misses Out On Manager Award

Tuesday's nights winning manager Paul Fairclough has won the manager of the month award after a surge up the table for the North London side.

Paul Lambert was listed amongst the nominees and despite impressive away wins at Bradford and Macclesfield, he missed out as well as Rochdale's Keith Hill and Franchise manager Paul Ince.

Chris Kamara justified his choice by saying:

'Paul Fairclough continues to do a fantastic job at Barnet. After a difficult start to the season his side really turned things around in September, notching up several important victories.'

'Their away win at Chesterfield just shows how well they have been playing recently and I'm sure Paul will be hoping his side can extend their unbeaten run over the coming weeks.'

However, with the bad luck attatched to the manager of the month award and already a loss for the Blues in October, maybe their aren't too many frowning faces around Adams Park.

However, this turnaround shows a significant turnaround when only a month ago, a few fans were calling for his head.
