Antwi Pleased With Return

After 6 months out of action, this week Will Antwi stepped up his rehibiliation and featured in the 2-1 home defeat to a strong Watford reserve team.

The 25 year old has had an injury plagued time at Adams Park but the 2005 signing from Aldershot has been imposing every time he has played and there is no doubt that he, along with Mike Williamson played a pivotal role in Wycombe's promising start last season as well as the Carling Cup run.

He told the official website:

'I'm very pleased, I'm glad I'm back from injury - its been a long time. It was just great to be back in a match day situation too, I was just glad to be involved again.'

It was reported in the summer that Antwi had cancelled his holiday in order to step up recovery and with this type of endeavour, Wycombe fans await his long-awaited return to the first team fold.
