'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fola Free Again

After just 20 days at Shrewsbury Town, Gary Peters has chosen to release ex-Wanderer Fola Onibuje.

The 6'7 striker was given his last chance to impress in the Carling Cup against Fulham and after a poor performance in that game as well as the last round against Colchester United, Peters has seen enough however citing his 'lack of fitness' as the reason for getting rid of him.

You can't help but feel sorry for him at times, 12 goals in just over 20 games at Cambridge shows he has the goalscoring ability and if a team gives him an extended chance to impress, they could reap the rewards as there is no doubt he can be a handful on his day.
