'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Destination Daggers

Wycombe travel to Dagenham & Redbridge on the back of 2 defeats in both league and cup competition and the morale of the fans enduring a rapid decrease.

Paul Lambert has spoken of 'needing time to gel' but with a team with his impression firmly imprinted upon it, is he feeling the pressure? Tomorrow is not a given victory by any means, the Daggers have also endured 2 straight defeats and with the added motivation of their first home game in the Football League, they're not going to make it easy for the Wanderers.

With Lambert's 4-1-3-2 formation failing, the game presents another opportunity for him to try and discover the best team that he has at his disposal. Welsh hitman Jermaine Easter returns and this could be the catalyst required to spur the team into action at long last and break this horrible winless hoodoo.

It may be early in the season but there's no doubting the importance of this game. This will test the character of the newly assembled squad and it will be up to them to show what we know they're capable of.

I'm predicting a tough encounter and optimistically predicting a 2-0 victory for Wycombe.
