Andre The Eleventh

Andre Boucaud has signed for Wycombe today on a 1 year deal which follows a string of quality performances in pre-season. This takes Wycombe's transfers in count to 11 and means we could field a starting line-up of just players signed this summer!

The 22 year old is an ex-Reading man and was even being keenly watched by Arsenal scouts in the past before impressing in League 1 at Peterborough United on a short-term loan from the Royals. However, he never really recaptured this form when his move became permanent which saw him end up at non-league Kettering for the last couple of years.

The way he has played in pre-season has seen many comparisons to ex-loanee Anthony Grant and with so many midfielders now on board we now have the strength in depth which we could have done with last year and this whole squad looks far more equipped for promotion than ever before.

After his Zidanesque turn in the QPR game I'm looking forward to seeing him this season.
