Versatile left sided player Chris Palmer has been signed on a 4 month loan by Darlington. This may come as a slight surprise considering his impressive displays in pre-season.
However, Lambert has justified his decision hoping that Palmer will 'recapture the form that made him a first team regular last season' and maybe a stint in a promotion chasing side can only do him the world of good when he returns to us in January.
I, for one have always been impressed with Palmer's performances and I wish him the best of luck in his 4 month spell up north!
