Fola Fired
It has been announced this week that 6'7 striker Fola Onibuje has had his 3 year contract mutually terminated and leaves the club with 3 first team strikers.
This news intriguingly comes a day after the news that Shrewsbury offered to take the Nigerian Under 23 striker on a short term 3 month loan, an approach that Wycombe turned down only to release him today.
This seems an unusual decision as he could have made an impact if he had an extended run in the first team at a club and if this promise was shown we could bring him back as he is our player. However, he has not shown any signs of flourishing at Wycombe and this decision could be for the best.
