Blues' Final Piece

With the signing of Gary Holt confirmed today, it now means 9 players have been snapped up in the summer and we are one off the manager's target of 10 new players, but who will be the final recruit?

It was announced days ago that we were after 2 more midfielders and with one now in place, one more will complete the Wanderers' jigsaw.

I have heard strong rumours in the last few days that the midfielder in question is Peterborough's Richard Butcher. Butcher, 26 has become a victim of Posh's spending power but during spells with both Posh and Lincoln he has showed himself to be an extremely capable League 2 player. He is on the transfer list but will Posh's 50,000 asking price deter Wycombe.

Secondly, the other man in the frame has be triallist Andre Boucaud who has travelled with the squad to Germany. Possibly the most impressive man on the field against Holmer Green with some great passes and touches but will he do enough in Germany to convince Lambert that he is what we need to complete our promotion chasing squad for next season?
