Brownie Moves On

Wycombe Wanderers have announced today that long serving Wycombe icon Steve Brown has been relieved of his duties as assistant manager.

Steve Hayes has put the decision down to 'financial restructuring' and after cumulative losses of 1.6 million the previous year and with the Blues boasting one of the largest backroom teams in the lower leagues, it has been Brownie that has been the first to feel the force of the yielded Wycombe axe.

It is a sad day for many as Brownie is probably a firm favourite amongst most Wycombe fans and I would like to wish him the best of luck in what he chooses to do in the future.
