Stoney Signs Off With Season's Best

With no great susprise at all, it is a privelage to announce that Ian Stonebridge's goal against Swindon in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy was your favourite goal of this season.

When he began juggling the ball almost 40 yards out, many people wondered what he would do next but with a dipping drive that flew over the goalkeeper into the net, the crowd of under 2,000 who were fortunate to be there stood there for a couple of seconds trying to comprehend what they had seen, and what they had seen was a goal that would grace any game in the world.

It won with 68% of the vote, with Tommy Doherty's volley away at Bury and Jermaine Easter's curling effort against Swansea were in joint second with 8%.

it was a great goal, just a shame you didnt get through. We would of preferred playing you, instead of Doncaster. We might of had a shot at winning lol

Ian Stonebride showed a lot of promise at Plymouth, he didn't to much at the higher level unfortunately. A good prospect for you.
