The Doc To Return?

Supporters' player of the season and crowd favourite Tommy Doherty could be set to return to the club on a permanent basis next season if sources close to Wycombe are to be believed.

Paul Lambert is set to give an interview on Monday discussing the matter and we are strongly hoping that the man with the best facial hair in League 2 will be on his way back to Adams Park.

There had previously been rumours circling around the internet message boards that Doherty had agreed terms with Bristol Rovers and returning to the city where he spent a large chunk of his career in the red shirt of Pirates' rivals Bristol City.

But with speculation circling, maybe Lambert will keep his cards close to his chest and we will be left waiting and wandering if our bearded cult figure will return...
