Quakers Release Johnson

Darlington have today revealed that winger Simon Johnson does not have a future at the club and have decided against the option of renewing his contract. Johnson was due to join the Wanderers in January but decided against it for family reasons.

However, with a squad currently lacking in depth in wide departments, Lambert could be alerted by this and may be persuaded to follow up his first signing of Martin Bullock.
