Preview: Swindon Town v Wycombe Wanderers

Wycombe Wanderers travel to Swindon Town on Saturday for their 15th league game of the season.

The Chairboys snatched a dramatic injury-time equaliser to draw 3-3 with Carlisle United at Brunton Park on Tuesday.

Never in the lead, Wycombe came back from 2-0 down thanks to goals from Sam Saunders and Adebayo Akinfenwa.

The Cumbrians re-took the lead, but a Paris Cowan-Hall header earned the visitors the point their second-half performance deserved.

Only Luton and Manchester City have scored more than the 28 league goals Wanderers have now bagged, but on the other side of the coin, only four sides in League Two have conceded more than the 21 goals the Chairboys have shipped.

Blues boss Gareth Ainsworth will be disappointed with his side`s defending for Carlisle`s first and third goals, while the hosts` second came from a disputed penalty that has since led to Shaun Miller becoming the first player to be charged by the FA with 'successful deception of a match official."

The draw kept Wycombe`s unbeaten away record intact and they now face a Swindon side who also boast an excellent away record (15 points) but have struggled on their own turf (7 points).

The two sides haven`t met in the league since the 2009/10 season when both matches ended in a draw.

Wanderers went into Tuesday`s game on the back of a goal-less draw at home to Exeter City. They have now won 7, drawn, 5 and lost only 2 of their 14 league games and lie 4th in the table with 26 points, 11 more than they had at the same stage last season.

Ainsworth made two changes to his starting line-up against the Cumbrians.

Sam Saunders made a welcome return from injury whilst Dan Scarr was handed a recall to the side.

They replaced Anthony Stewart, who dropped to the bench, and Marcus Bean, who missed out through suspension.

Luke O'Nien returned to the bench after recovering from a medial knee ligament injury.

Ainsworth has no newly reported injury concerns ahead of this weekend's trip to the County Ground.

Bean is available again after serving a one-match ban but Josh Umerah remains doubtful with an ankle knock.

Michael Harriman (broken leg) and Nathan Tyson (knee ligament damage) won't be fit until after Christmas.

Danny Rowe hasn't been involved since mid-August for personal reasons and isn't expected to return this week.

No timescale has been set for Scott Kashket's return from a hip / groin injury.

Swindon Town conceded a late winner as they were beaten 1-0 by Lincoln City at the County Ground on Tuesday.

The Robins went into the game on the back of a 3-1 win at Mansfield Town last weekend.

They have won 7, lost 6 and drawn just 1 of their 14 league matches to sit in 10th place with 22 points.

Manager David Flitcroft named a completely unchanged starting line-up against the Imps in midweek.

John Goddard and Paul Mullin both kept their places in the side with Kaiyne Woolery and Kellan Gordon named on the bench again.

Flitcroft has no new injury concerns ahead of this weekend's clash with the Chairboys.

Loanee Timi Elsnik has missed the last three weeks with a groin injury and remains doubtful.

Lawrence Vigouroux serves the last of a four-match ban.

Harry Smith is back with parent club Millwall for personal reasons and it's not clear if he will return to resume his loan.

Chris Hussey is back with parent club Sheffield United for treatment on a groin injury.

Dion Conroy is unlikely to play again this season after suffering knee ligament damage.
