Wycombe Wanderers travel to Cambridge United on Saturday for their 12th league game of the season.

The Chairboys banked another three points with a comfortable 3-1 win over Barnet at Adams Park last weekend.

Adebayo Akinfenwa opened the scoring with his sixth goal of the season and contributed his third assist as Josh Umerah bagged Wanderers' second.

Nick Freeman scored the goal of the game to make it 3-0, but there was to be no clean sheet as the Bees nabbed a consolation.

It was Wycombe's third consecutive league victory following a 2-1 triumph at Colchester and a 3-2 win at home to Crewe.

Wanderers have now won 6, drawn 3 and lost 2 of their eleven league matches and are up to 7th in the table.

Unbeaten on the road so far, Gareth Ainsworth's side now travel to Cambridge where they won 2-1 last season thanks to a 90th minute strike from Aaron Pierre.

Manager Gareth Ainsworth made just one change to his starting line-up against the Bees, with Anthony Stewart handed a recall to the side in place of Dan Scarr who dropped to the bench.

Ainsworth has no newly reported injury concerns ahead of this weekend's clash with the U's.

Matt Bloomfield and Paris Cowan-Hall are now back in training and could return to the squad .

Luke O'Nien faces more time out with a knee injury.

Danny Rowe hasn't been involved since mid-August due to personal reasons and isn't expected to return this weekend.

No timescale has been set for the return of Scott Kashket.

Yves Ma-Kalambay has signed a short term deal until January to provide goalkeeping cover and is likely to be named on the bench.

Cambridge United lost 1-0 at home to a Southampton under-21 side in the Football League Trophy on Tuesday.

The U's went into the game on the back of a 2-0 defeat away to Swindon Town in the league.

They have won 5, lost 5 and drawn 1 drawn one of their eleven league matches this season and are currently 12th in the table with 16 points.

Head coach Shaun Derry made seven changes to his starting line-up against the Saints in midweek.

Gary Deegan, Medy Elito, Piero Mingoia and Jevani Brown were the only players to keep their places in the side.

Greg Taylor made a welcome return to the centre of defence after recovering from a fortnight out with concussion.

David Amoo was recalled to the bench whilst teenager Ben Worman was included in the squad for the first time in his career.

Jabo Ibehre and Uche Ikpeazu were both rested.

Adebayo Azeez is set to miss the rest of the season with a knee injury otherwise head coach Shaun Derry has a fully-fit squad to choose from for this weekend's clash with the Chairboys.
