Trust AGM takes place tonight

Trust AGM takes place tonight

The Wycombe Wanderers Trust are holding their AGM tonight Wednesday 26th February at 8.00pm.

The meeting is for members only and is being held in the Vere Suite at Adams Park.

The Trust recently announced that they had "signed non-binding Heads of Terms for the sale of a controlling interest in WWFC to a company of investors who are committed to injecting funds into the club to continue its development both on and off the field."

Under the terms of the proposal, Adams Park will remain under the ownership of the Trust.

The Trust had hoped to introduce the consortium tonight, but have issued a statement saying: "The potential purchasers of a majority stake in the Football Club will not be present at this evening`s AGM. Also, for continuing legal reasons, we will not be able to name them this evening. We have now asked them for a confirmed date when they will be able to present their plans to you, and as soon as we have this, a further meeting will be arranged."

Other items on tonight`s agenda include a ballot to fill four positions on the Trust board, with five candidates in contention, including four current directors who are applying for re-election.
