Joel Grant moves on

Former Wycombe winger Joel Grant has signed for Championship new-boys Yeovil Town

Last season's joint-top goalscorer with 11 in all competitions, Grant is out of contract at Adams Park and has unsurprisingly turned down the offer of a new one in favour of testing himself two divisions higher.

During his two seasons at Wycombe, Grant made 68 starts and 9 substitute appearances in all competitions, scoring 16 goals.

His departure means the Chairboys have lost three of last season's wingers, with loan-signing Bruno Andrade returning to parent club QPR and player-manager Gareth Ainsworth hanging up his boots.

Ainsworth has already begun to fill the void with yesterday's signing of Paris Cowan-Hall.
