Blues sign Nick Arnold from Reading


Wycombe Wanderers have signed right-back Nick Arnold on a season-long loan from Reading.

The 19 year-old has yet to make a first team appearance for the Royals but impressed Blues' boss Gareth Ainsworth with his performances for the Under 21s.

"I'm excited to be working with him, having watched him play a number of times for Reading U21s last season," said Ainsworth, speaking to wwfc.com

"I feel he's got something. He can play anywhere on the right and is energetic with pace and strength."

Arnold used Twitter to expresss his delight at the move: "I'm pleased to agree a loan deal with Wycombe for the season. It's going to be a great chance for me and let's hope we have a good season," he said.
