Lambert to return to Wycombe


Wycombe Wanderers will entertain Aston Villa in a pre-season friendly on Saturday 20th July.

This means a return to Adams Park for former Blues' boss Paul Lambert whose Villa side have just achieved Premier League safety with one round of fixtures remaining.

Wanderers also announced that their friendly at Oxford City has been moved to Friday 26th July.

The four pre-season friendlies arranged so far are as follows:

Havant & Waterlooville (Away) Saturday 6th July 3.00pm

Farnborough (Away) Wednesday 17th July 7.30pm

Aston Villa (Home) Saturday 20th July 3.00pm

Oxford City (Away) Friday 26th July 7.30pm
