Bloomfield signs up for testimonial season

Wycombe Wanderers' midfielder Matt Bloomfield has agreed a new one-year contract to remain at Adams Park.

Having joined the Chairboys in December 2003, the new deal will see Bloomfield complete over ten years of service to the club and will entitle him to a testimonial.

After spending virtually the whole of last season in the treatment room, Bloomfield can't wait to be back in action.

"I'm looking forward to pre-season, probably more than anyone else in the squad and I'm hoping to be out there with the boys on the first day," he told wwfc.com

"My recovery is going really well and I'm really chuffed. I've only had a couple of days off since the end of the season, I've been in the gym nearly every day and I'm working as hard as I possibly can to get fit as soon as I can."
