Bradford Game in doubt

Saturday's game between Bradford City and Wycombe Wanderers is in doubt due to the cold spell affecting most of the country

The Valley Parade pitch will be inspected tomorrow morning and the Bantams have issued the following statement on their official website www.bradfordcityfc.co.uk...

"The football club can confirm that a pitch inspection has been arranged for Friday (tomorrow) morning ahead of this Saturday's scheduled npower League 2 fixture with Wycombe Wanderers at the Coral Windows Stadium.

The Valley Parade playing surface, which is currently covered by a thick layer of snow, will be inspected by a local match official at 11:00am - an hour or so before Wycombe are due to make their journey north in preparation for the match.

With temperatures set to dip to as low as -7 in the Bradford region tonight and snow possibly on the horizon for tomorrow, the club felt it was in the best interests of all concerned to have the pitch inspected before opponents Wycombe begin to travel.

The club will, of course, update supporters further when any new details are known."
