Goalless in Gloucestershire

Forest Green Rovers 0 Wycombe Wanderers 0

The Chairboys' second pre-season friendly was a dull affair according to Vital's man on the spot Dale Jenkins.

Gary Waddock's side were disappointing in attack, but looked solid defensively and pressed the opposition well when not in possession.

Richard Logan won plenty in the air but failed to convert the Blues' two best chances, while at the other end, substitute keeper Matt Ingram did well to keep the hosts out towards the end of the game.

Young Anthony Stewart caught the eye for a second consecutive game, while Matt Spring and Stuart Beavon were Dale's pick of the experienced players on show.

Next up for Wycombe is a trip to Staines Town on Saturday 21st July - kick-off 3.00pm.

Wycombe Line-up
