Wycombe Wanderers Weekly Round Up


Beaten 2-0 at Sheffield Wednesday in their final game of the season last Saturday, Wycombe Wanderers are already preparing for life in League Two.


Manager Gary Waddock has offered a new deal to five of the eleven players whose contracts expire this summer.

Anthony Stewart has accepted a new two-year contract.

The others are considering one-year deals.

Charles Dunne is already under contract but has been offered a one-year extension.

The Blues have also announced pre-season friendlies at Farnborough F.C. and Forest Green Rovers.

Farnborough (Away) Saturday 14th July - Kick off: TBC

Forest Green (Away) Wednesday 18th July - Kick off: 7.30pm

Farnborough finished 16th in the Conference South last season. They play at the Rushmoor Community Stadium, Cherrywood Road, Farnborough, Hampshire, GU14 8UD.

Forest Green finished 10th in the Conference Premier last season. They play at The New Lawn, Another Way, Nailsworth

In other news, Blues' striker Matt McClure made an 86th minute substitute appearance for Northern Ireland U21 in their 1-0 defeat in Macedonia, while full back Marvin McCoy has been selected by Antigua & Barbuda for their forthcoming World Cup qualifiers against USA and Jamaica.
