'If It's Football, It's Vital'

The Opposition View

Following yesterday's 1-1 draw at Adams Park, here are some thoughts from the opposition.

"Sickener at the penalty miss, sickener at the six or seven chances we missed," said visiting manager Karl Robinson.

"I thought we should have won the game."

"You can blame people and use excuses but we didn't take our chances during the game and that's the bit we have to learn from."

"It's all about how we respond to this; I think finishing second now is a distant hope. We now have to cement our place in the play-offs."

"Our fans out-sang Wycombe to the extent that it felt like a home game today. I thought they were magnificent, so thank you to them, I'm sorry we didn't get the victory."

"Such a let down. This was our season to go up! Now all we have is the dreaded play offs that we have been s**t at from day one!"

"Another season in league 1 then. Don't deserve to go up if we can't beat Wycombe."

"Poor display and it was no surprise when they equalised. We didn't pass and at times lacked any ideas - it wasn't a terrible show but it wasn't great either. I said to the bloke next to me we would miss the penalty and everyone knew they would grab an undeserved equalizer.... Play offs it is."

"We got what we deserved today. Kept giving the ball away with unforced errors as they call it in tennis."

"A one goal lead is never enough for us, but to be fair to Wycombe, they didn't give up."

"On a lighter note, we outsung a tinpot club all afternoon."

"5,572 in attendance at Adams Park including 1,243 MK Dons fans. That means there were 4,329 Wycombe Wanderers supporters there today... pathetic, they really are tinpot aren't they. No doubt they will claim a boycott"

"Assuming the play-offs are wrapped up by the last game of the season and our auto chances have finally died a death - Play the kids against Walsall? How bad would it be if a really ropey home effort results in a Walsall win and a South Bucks disaster... They have Sheffield Wednesday away."

Next Game: Stevenage v Wycombe - Sat 31st March - 3.00pm
