'If It's Football, It's Vital'

The Opposition View - Yeovil

In the wake of yesterday's horrible home-defeat to Yeovil Town, here are some views on the game from a few delighted Glovers' fans.

The following extracts are taken from the Green Room II and Yahoo sport.

"A very good win which means we have done the double over Wycombe and beaten them four times in a row and have recorded our first away win in ages. The result also puts us 4 points clear of 21st place which makes relegation more unlikely now."

Oxford_Glover wrote:
"Couldn't fault the team really. They looked short of confidence in the first half, but really got going after the first goal went in. Looked like they could score every time they went forward after that. I don't honestly think Wycombe can feel they were anywhere near deserving getting anything from that game. All in all a great evening out and fantastic support from the away travellers. Shame about £5 parking and £22 ticket."

"Good to see a second half fight back. Always feel Gary Johnson has that half time inspirational speech in him or a kick up the backside."

HHH wrote:
"Plenty of possession first half, but lacked a cutting edge, and did not trouble their keeper once that I recall. Second half, Andy Williams was OUTSTANDING in everything he did. MOTM by a mile. Little bit of nerves in the last ten mins but overall a deserved 3 points on balance of play. Wycombe to be one of the four to go down. Three more to find."

Baige wrote:
"I actually thought the impetus was there in the first half, just not the quality. Most of the play was in their half but we hoofed it a bit too much and didn't use the flanks enough. After the break we were tremendous - Used the flanks and stretched them and deservedly won the match. Thought Andy Williams was brilliant tonight. He looked a class act."

"Yeah, but how bad were Wycombe!"

"Wycombe are easy to beat, they have no defence!! Teams can score as and when they like, teams who play them are guaranteed at least one point but nearly always get three!!!

Aylesbury_Glover wrote:
"Wycombe are definitely one of the four to go down, purely based on the fact that two of their players nearly came to blows and had to be separated after they got their second goal. At that moment I felt confident we could hang on."
