Wycombe Wanderers travel to Brentford on Saturday for their 28th league game of the season.
The league table currently shows Wycombe in 22nd place with 23 points and Brentford in 9th spot with 37 points, both sides having played 27 games.
Brentford's Home Record...W 4 - D 5 - L 5 - Pts 17...Ppg 1.21 (Rank-16)
Wycombe's Away Record...W 2 - D 3 - L 8 - Pts 9.....Ppg 0.69 (Rank-22)
Following a crucial 3-0 victory over relegation rivals Rochdale last Saturday, Wycombe will attempt to win two games in a row for the first time this season.
Defender Louis Laing made an impressive debut against Dale as the Blues kept only their second clean sheet of the season, and earlier this week manager Gary Waddock entered the loan-market again to sign experienced midfielder James Harper from Hull City.
In injury news, Leon Johnson returned to training this week and Matt McClure made his comeback and scored in a practice match against Watford after five months on the sidelines recovering from a broken ankle.
Brentford may be ninth in the table, but their recent results are poor.
With only one victory since the end of November and none in their last seven games, the Bees' current form is on a par with Wycombe's.
Both sides have collected only three points from their last five league games and sit 21st and 22nd in the form table for that period.
If you extend the form guide to encompass the last ten league games, the Bees have banked eleven points and the Blues ten.
Not much in it then, and with Wycombe unbeaten in their last four visits to Griffin Park, there are plenty of reasons to be optimistic if you're that way inclined!
