Benyon goes back to the Robins

Wycombe Wanderers' loanee striker Elliot Benyon has returned to his parent club Swindon Town.

Born in High Wycombe, Benyon joined the Blues on a season-long loan back in June, but missed the entire pre-season campaign after breaking his hand in training.

He eventually made five starts and eight substitute appearances for the Blues in all competitions, scoring just one goal from the penalty spot.

It's reported that Benyon will be joining Southend United from Swindon for an undisclosed fee when the January transfer window opens.
