Blues to visit Highbury in FA Cup


The Blues will travel to Fleetwood Town in the first round of the FA Cup on 12 November after the Trawlermen beat Mansfield Town 5-0 in last night's fourth qualifying round replay.

Fleetwood is on the Fylde Coast a few miles from Blackpool on Lancashire's coastline. Their 5,663 capacity Highbury Stadium is exactly 220 miles from Adams Park using the M40 and the M6.

Last season was Fleetwood's first in the Conference and they finished a creditable 5th before losing to AFC Wimbledon in the Play Off Semi Finals.

The Trawlermen currently lie 2nd in the table two points behind leaders Wrexham.
