'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Dunne joins Staines for the season

Wycombe Wanderers left-back Charles Dunne has joined Conference South side Staines Town on loan for the rest of the 2011/12 season.

The 18-year-old defender signed his first professional contract with the Chairboys two weeks ago. He has signed until the summer of 2013 having only joined the club last season after being spotted playing park football.

Upon signing Charles said: 'It's a privilege to sign for Wycombe. It feels like my hard work has paid off and hopefully I can have a bright future.'

Gary Waddock added: 'Charles has worked extremely hard since he's been with the club and he deserves the chance to turn professional.'

Dunne can be recalled at 24-hours notice after 28 days with the Swans. He could make his debut against Worthing in a F.A. Cup Third Qualifying Round tie this weekend. He joins fellow Chairboy Jesse Kewley-Graham at Wheatsheaf Park. The midfielder is half-way through a months loan with Town.
