In the wake of Wycombe's fifth consecutive league defeat (report to follow), here's what Tranmere boss Les Parry and a few of their fans had to say about the game.
Parry was delighted to have collected all three points without playing well.
"We've always said the most important thing is the three points and the second is the performance," he said.
"It would have been nice to have a better performance, but I'm not kidding myself that we footballed them to death or swarmed all over them, because we didn't."
"That was our poorest performance of the season and we've won 2-0."
The Rovers' fans thought their team played absolute rubbish but still coasted to an easy victory.
The following extracts are taken from White Review, the Cowsheds and Total Tranmere.

"Have you ever seen a more boring 2-0 win? No wonder the crowds are so dire.'
SuperWhitesi wrote:
"Glad we won but what I wouldn't give for some entertainment.'
Steve wrote:
"Extremely dull. I can't believe I'm complaining about a 2 0 victory but if we had played our best and kept hold of the ball it could have easily been 5-0. Wycombe really were that bad.'
MIG wrote:
"We were bad, they were terrible.'
TRFCHughes wrote:
"I don't think it was tactics that let us down today - the players just seemed half asleep, too slow, and too lackadaisical.'
Xavi wrote:
"I think the opposition are the reason for that. They were soooo bad, it was easy just to drop off and not put the effort in. I'm not saying that's okay but that's probably what happened.'

"I reckon at full strength we would have put five past them today.'

"The 2nd half was a stalemate. We were happy at 2-0 and would've tried to catch them on the counter but they didn't bother going forward either.'
Rockfords Love Child wrote:
"In the second half we made our usual mistake of sitting far too deep and giving Wycombe an invitation to get back into the game, but they weren't good enough to take it.'
Ricci wrote:
"The main thing we can take from that is the three points. We didn't play great, it was more of a grind, and both goals coming from set pieces probably sums the game up.'

"It was dull, uninspiring, turgid dross. We just happened to be the better of two dire sides on show today. They were there for the taking, for 4, 5 or 6-0, they were that bad.'

"I still can't get over our inability to pass the ball and keep possession - a decent team might have punished us but Wycome really were woeful.'
DIW wrote:
"Most uninspiring win I've seen in years. Wycombe were inept in just about every way but at least we took the points - last year we were screwing up against this sort of rubbish.'
