Blues send Arnold out on loan

Wycombe Wanderers goalkeeper Steve Arnold has joined Hayes & Yeading on a one month loan.

Nikki Bull's deputy joined the Blues in January 2010 but has yet to make a first-team appearance in a competitive game.

With the number of potential substitutes reduced from seven to five this season, Arnold's departure raises the possibility that manager Gary Waddock will go without a keeper on the bench.

Another option is to accelerate the development of highly-rated scholar Matt Ingram who featured in several of the club's pre-season friendlies.
