Wycombe sign John Halls from Aldershot

Wycombe Wanderers have signed John Halls on a free transfer from Aldershot Town.

Described as a right-sided defender/midfielder on the Shots' official website, Halls has signed a one-year contract with the Blues.

The 29 year-old becomes the seventh Wycombe player to have previously played under Gary Waddock at Aldershot.

"I've signed him again because I know he'll bring quality to the group," said Waddock.

Halls told wwfc.com: "It's a good club and I know the manager who I'm glad to be linking up with again."

A former Arsenal youth player. Halls has made appearances for Colchester United, Beveren, Stoke City, Reading, Preston North End, Crystal Palace, Sheffield United, Brentford and the Shots.
