League Two promotion battle (3 to go)

Automatic promotion is no longer in Wycombe's own hands after they dropped out of the top-three for the first time this year following the latest round of results.

Bury, Shrewsbury and Accrington all won.

Chesterfield, Wycombe and Torquay all drew.

Stevenage and Gillingham both lost.

The Spireites are now promoted and will be Champions if they beat Bury at home on Monday.

Strictly speaking, Bury need another 4 points to be certain of promotion, but with their vastly superior goal-difference, 3 points will be enough.

With the Shakers now the only team that can deprive the Spireites of the title, everything is set up for a cracker at the b2net on Monday.

Shrewsbury leapfrogged Wycombe to move into 3rd. On Monday they host Accrington who have charged up to 5th, just 4 points behind the Shrews.

The Chairboys need 4 more points to be certain of a place in the play-offs. Next up for them are free-scoring Crewe.

Torquay's hopes of a top three spot now look slim. They travel to Burton on Monday.

One more win for Shrewsbury would ensure Stevenage and Gillingham are unable to gain automatic promotion.
