Marvellous Marv signs for another two years

Wycombe Wanderers have extended Marvin McCoy's contract for a further two years.

The Antigua & Barbuda international has signed a new deal to keep him at Adams Park until the summer of 2013.

The 22 year-old full-back signed for the Blues from Wealdstone last summer despite interest from several other clubs.

A string of impressive performances have made McCoy a fans' favourite and they'll be delighted that the club have acted quickly to secure his services for longer.

Speaking to wwfc.com, McCoy said: "I'm buzzing. I'm playing games, I'm enjoying it, I've got a good manager and there's a good set of lads here."

Blues boss Gary Waddock said: "I'm delighted Marv has signed a new contract. He's come in, worked hard and taken his opportunity when it came along."

Stuart Beavon next please.
