Donnelly deal confirmed

Wycombe Wanderers have confirmed the loan-signing of Swansea City's Scott Donnelly until the end of the season - subject to international clearance.

The 23 year-old midfielder is unavailable for selection for Saturday's trip to Cheltenham, but could make his debut at home to Gillingham on Monday 3rd January.

Blues' boss Gary Waddock was delighted to finally sign Donnelly having tried to bring him to Adams Park last January and again during the summer.

"He's a player we've been pursuing for some time and I'm delighted to get him in," Waddock told wwfc.com.

"I've known Scott since he was a schoolboy at QPR and he was one of our first-team regulars when Martin Kuhl and I were at Aldershot. We know what he can do, and he has qualities which will improve our options in midfield."
