Having spoken to Crewe officials, Wycombe's club secretary Keith Allen told wwfc.com: "At this stage, the prospects of us playing on Saturday look remote. There is frost in the ground, snow lying on top of the pitch covers and more frost is anticipated, including Friday night. They are having a pitch inspection at lunchtime on Friday and they expect that the game will be postponed."

In the event of a miraculous thaw, the Blues will attempt to halt a run of two consecutive league defeats, while Crewe will attempt to overtake them in the table with a third win in four games.
