Wycombe Wanderers entertain Barnet on Tuesday in their 9th league game of the season.
The league table currently shows Wycombe in 16th place with 9 points and Barnet in 23rd spot with 6 points.
Wycombe Home Record........Won 1...Drawn 2...Lost 1
Barnet Away Record.............Won 0...Drawn 1...Lost 3
The Bees are the latest contenders to take part in this season's exciting "let's find a team Wycombe can actually beat" competition.
Last year, it took until November before the Chairboys recorded their second victory of the season, but this time round, the ever dwindling home support continue to cough up their hard earned cash confident that the landmark will be achieved a little earlier.
It won't be easy though. Barnet will probably insist on fielding eleven players to immediately reduce the Chairboys' chances of success - and to make matters worse they may include 'defenders' which all but rules out Wycombe's chances of scoring - and possibly even 'strikers' which means Wycombe will lose unless goalkeeper Nikki Bull plays yet another blinder.
Defeat would see the Blues drop perilously close to the relegation zone - but not to worry - It's early days and the new players need time to gel, and we look great in training, and once it clicks we'll be fine, and we have an owner with a five year plan to take us to the Championship, and we have after all played some really tough teams like Morecambe (20th), Macclesfield (19th), Aldershot (18th), Stockport (14th) and Northampton (13th), so it's hardly surprising that we haven't won since early August.
Seriously though - I'm kidding - It will probably be another draw - or better still, some of the players might read this and think "I'll show that bastard" - then go out and win for once.
