Oxford City boss excited at Fitchett loan-signing

Oxford City boss excited at Fitchett loan-signing

Oxford City manager Mike Ford has high hopes for Wycombe youngster Dan Fitchett who joined the Southern League Premier Division side earlier this week on a one-month loan.

'I saw him play last year in the Berks & Bucks Cup against Didcot and I thought he was one to watch,' Ford told the Oxford Mail.

'He has a lot of pace and will offer a bit more of a goal threat which we have been missing.'

The 20 year-old striker is expected to make his City debut this afternoon at Swindon Supermarine.
