Marvellous Marvin signs for Wycombe

Wycombe Wanderers have signed right-back Marvin McCoy from Wealdstone on a one-year contract.

The 21 year-old had been on trial with the Chairboys in recent weeks and his impressive performances had also attracted the attention of Leeds, Southampton & Charlton Athletic according to rumours in the press.

The Stones' Players' & Supporters' Player of the Season in 2009/10, McCoy is a former Watford trainee who has also played for Harrow Borough.

Determined to make it back into the Football League, the young full-back has caught the eye in his short time with the Blues, showing ability on the ball and stunning the crowd with a superb 60 yard run which led to Wycombe's second goal in their recent game at Hayes & Yeading.
