Blues put Ayles in charge of fitness

Wycombe Wanderers have appointed Stuart Ayles to replace Head of Medical & Sports Science Damien Doyle who has left the club to join Franchise.

Ayles played Centre-Back for a number of teams in the Eastern Counties League before moving into coaching at Ipswich Town and subsequently becoming qualified as a physio.

Since cutting his teeth as a physio with Southend United's Youth Team and Ipswich Town's Academy, Ayles has gained plenty of experience at Cambridge United, Colchester United, Hull City, Charlton Athletic and LA Galaxy.

He is also a qualified Sports Science, Strength and Conditioning Coach, enabling him to formulate specific rehab programmes as well as advising on fitness and nutritional programmes.
