Wycombe Wanderers 3 Yeovil Town 3

Wycombe Wanderers drew 3-3 at home to Yeovil Town this morning in a behind closed-doors pre-season friendly.

The Glovers scored after only four minutes but the Chairboys hit back with two goals from Jon-Paul Pittman and one from Matt Phillips to lead 3-1 at half time.

Two second-half goals from the visitors squared the match.

The scorers for Yeovil were Danny Hutchins, Sam Williams and Lloyd Matthews.

Blues' boss Gary Waddock was pleased with what he saw: "It was a good run out for the boys," he told wwfc.com. "It was useful for them to play together in a match situation. They've been excellent in training and looked sharp in the game against Yeovil, so I'm happy with the progress we're making."

Wycombe are in action again on Tuesday evening at Chesham United - kick-off 7.45pm
