Blues sign Andy Sandell to replace Craig Woodman.

Wycombe Wanderers have secured the signature of 26 year-old left-back Andy Sandell to replace Craig Woodman who joined Brentford earlier today.

Sandell has turned down the offer of a new contract with Aldershot Town to join the Chairboys on a two-year deal which will see him reunited with Blues' boss Gary Waddock.

Waddock signed Sandell from Salisbury City when he was Shots' manager, and feels he knows exactly what to expect from his new left-back.

"He's got a good left foot, he can go forward and he is also very solid defensively," Waddock told wwfc.com.
