Huddersfield Preview - All The Stats

Wycombe Wanderers entertain Huddersfield Town on Saturday in their 39th league game of the season.

The League table currently shows Huddersfield in 7th place with 62 points from 38 games and Wycombe in 23rd spot with 32 points from 38 games.

Huddersfield's away record is.....Won 7...Drawn 3...Lost 9.
Wycombe's home record is........Won 4...Drawn 6...Lost 9.

The play-off chasing Terriers will no doubt be confident ahead of this game thanks to their 6-0 win over the Blues earlier this season, but only three of the Wycombe players who lined-up against them in November started last Saturday's game at Colchester United.

In one of their worst performances of the season, the Chairboys were fortunate to keep the score down to six at the Galpharm as Huddersfield's impressive pace and movement carved them apart time after time, but it's a better organised and more determined looking Wycombe side who will be attempting to upset the odds this weekend.

Coming into the game on the back of four successive draws, Gary Waddock's side have done well to steady the ship, but must know they need to start winning matches to have any chance of avoiding relegation.

The Blues have enjoyed considerable success against high-flyers this season and actually have a better record than Huddersfield against sides currently in the top half of the table, but on the flip side, the Terriers have collected 43 of their 62 points by making mincemeat of teams from the bottom half.
