When Exeter City equalised in the last minute to deny Wycombe Wanderers all three points on Saturday, it was the 12th time this season that the Grecians had scored in the final five minutes of a game.

This enviable habit of grabbing late goals has earned Exeter 10 of the 37 points they have on the board so far this season.

Curiosity prompted me to have a look at how Wycombe have fared in the final five minutes of league games this season and although it's not particularly good, it's not quite as bad as I thought it might be:

Goals scored in final five minutes: 4
Points gained as a result: 3

Goals conceded in the final five minutes: 4
Points lost as a result: 6


While I was at it I compiled another load of stats that might interest the more obsessed reader.
