Wycombe sign Julian Kelly from Reading

Wycombe Wanderers have signed Reading defender Julian Kelly on an initial one month emergency loan.

The 20 year-old has made 9 starts and 3 substitute appearances for the Royals' first-team over the past two seasons.

He spent most of the 2007/08 season as reserve team left-back, but began the 2008/09 campaign on the first-team bench as cover for the right-back position.

Earlier this season, Kelly played in Reading's Carling Cup tie against Barnsley before picking up a troublesome shoulder injury which has kept him sidelined.

Wycombe manager Gary Waddock told wwfc.com: "I'm delighted to have signed Julian, he's a very good player. He has Championship experience and is a good acquisition. I'm looking forward to working with him."
