Akinde loan extended by Wycombe

Bristol City striker John Akinde will remain at Adams Park for another month after the Chairboys secured an extension to his loan period.

The big striker was a instant success at the end of last season when his 7 goals in 11 games were instrumental in securing promotion for the Blues.

This season's loan-spell has been blighted by injury, with Akinde only playing 254 minutes for Wycombe so far, and as yet failing to find the net.

His new loan-period includes 6 games and expires after Charlton Athletic visit Adams Park on 16th January.
