Wycombe Wanderers have announced that Bristol City striker John Akinde has returned to Adams Park on a one-month loan.
Akinde revitalised the Chairboys faltering promotion campaign last season, scoring seven goals in only eleven appearances during a loan-spell which ran from mid-March until May.
The big striker was an instant hit with fans when he scored twice on his Wycombe debut in a difficult top of the table clash at promotion rivals Brentford.
He is available to play against high-flying Huddersfield Town on Saturday and Wycombe fans will be hoping he can make a similar impact.
Speaking to his club's official website, Wycombe manager Gary Waddock had this to say:
'If he can recapture the form that he enjoyed in his first spell at the club, then everyone will be delighted.'
'He brings something different to the group and I'm looking forward to working with him.'
