Pack goes back to Portsmouth

Marlon Pack has returned to his parent club Portsmouth after making nine appearances for Wycombe Wanderers during his two-month loan spell.

Operating in a holding midfield role as cover for the injured Tommy Doherty, 18 year-old Pack put in some mature performances and it was thought that former manager Peter Taylor intended to retain his services for the remainder of the season.

However, with Doherty now fit again and midfielder Matt Bloomfield also fully recovered from injury, new manager Gary Waddock has decided not to extend Pack's stay at Adams Park.

Waddock told his club's official website: 'I would like to thank Marlon for his efforts during his time at the club and wish him the best for his future.'
