Following last night's 4-0 defeat to The Posh, here are some views on the game from Peterborough manager Darren Ferguson and a few of their fans.
Ferguson told his club's official website that his team's performance was 'outstanding' and their best display for ages.
Seemingly unimpressed by the Chairboys, he wouldn't let that fact detract from his satisfaction: 'You can say what you like about the opposition, but I am focusing on my side's performance and I thought we were outstanding. It's the best performance for a long time from us and I was delighted,' he said.
'There were no negatives from that display for me.' said Ferguson, adding that he felt his team would have given anyone a game with a performance like last night's.
'We kept the ball, we created space, used the whole width of the pitch and caused them plenty of problems,' he said, adding that his side also scored some 'great goals.'
The Posh fans saw the game for what it was.

'Good performance and a decent amount of Posh fans. Have a look at Wycombe's goalie though, absolutely dreadful.'

'We have destroyed a side who just over 12 months ago were in the same division as us. It shows how far we have come in such a short period of time.'

'a few years ago we would have struggled to score let alone wipe them out. George Boyd's performance was a delight to see.'

'We played really well last night, even if the opposition weren't that great. The gulf in class was massive and we could have easily had a few more.'
It seems one fan doesn't think much of our chances of promotion based on last night's performance.
