Wycombe Sign Midfielder Stuart Green

Wycombe Wanderers have announced the signing of midfielder Stuart Green on a two year contract.

28 year-old Green has been signed twice before by Chairboys' manager Peter Taylor, firstly when he was in charge at Hull City and then at Crystal Palace.

Green's Previous League Record is as follows:

Newcastle United - 0 Appearances, 0 Goals

Carlisle Utd (loan) - 26 Appearances, 5 Goals

Hull City - 137 Appearances, 24 Goals

Crystal Palace - 24 Appearances, 4 Goals

Blackpool - 6 Appearances, 0 Goals

Crewe (loan) - 2 Appearances, 0 Goals

An attacking midfielder, Green has seen his career falter somewhat over the last few years and will no doubt be hoping this move will lead to more first-team appearances than he's enjoyed in recent seasons.

2008/09 - 4 Appearances

2007/08 - 17 Appearances

2006/07 - 16 Appearances

Wycombe manager Peter Taylor told his club's official website: 'His goalscoring record was very good at Palace and he is an excellent finisher. He is a very good attacking midfielder and I'm pleased with the addition.'

A slightly incestuous signing by Mr Taylor! He was a good player for the Tigers though and I hope he will do well for you.

He should do well for Wycombe.
